Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: July 16, 2026
YouChannelBrains is a tool for understanding and navigating publicly available video content. You are responsible for the sources you choose to build brains from and for how you use the outputs. This policy sits alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Use it for
- Asking questions and getting cited answers from public YouTube content.
- Summaries, key points, and article-style outputs that transform and condense a source.
- Personal research, learning, and reusable knowledge for your own work.
Do not use it to
- Reproduce or redistribute substantial verbatim portions of a creator’s work as a substitute for the original video.
- Present AI-generated output as the direct, verbatim words or the endorsement of any real person.
- Build content from material you have no right to use, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
- Generate unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or infringing content, or anything that violates a platform’s own terms.
- Scrape, resell, or bulk-export the underlying transcripts, or attempt to overload or circumvent the service.
Attribution and sending traffic to the source
YouChannelBrains is designed to point people to creators, not replace them. Every answer links back to the source video at the cited moment. If you publish or share an output, keep that attribution intact.
Enforcement
We may limit or suspend accounts that violate this policy, and we honour valid removal requests from rights-holders — see Creator & rights-holder requests.
